Boss BullyingWednesday 1 August, 2018
Workplace bullying is repeated and unreasonable behaviour directed towards a worker or a group of workers that can lead to physical or psychological harm. Your boss could be a bully. Examples of what could be considered bullying include attacking cultural belief, making degrading comments about their sexuality, and constantly criticising work without offering any help or support.
It is possible to approach your boss directly with these issues. However, many people feel too intimidated to resolve the problem internally.
If this is the case, you should contact an employment advocate. They can come up with solutions to help resolve the workplace problem, and can help get an outcome that works for you. We have helped a number of clients who have been bullied by their boss. You could be one of them
