Usually employment is a relationship directly between an employer and an employee.
Triangular employment is where a labour-hire agency (primary employer) contracts the services of its employees to other businesses (secondary employer).
Those business (secondary employers) pay a fee to the agency (primary employer) to cover the cost of the worker’s service, plus a profit margin for the agency. The agency then pays the worker, who agrees to work for the host under their business requirements.
